I am so glad you’re here! I love helping 3rd-5th grade teachers by providing ideas, engaging resources, and professional development they need. I am a literacy coach who is here to help lessen the workload for teachers while making them more confident! I want students to be continually engaged in a rigorous environment!

  1. Heya.

In order to teach math this is what I do. I use free practical activities to teach first grade children the basic math skills. We recite the entire one times table during one weekly math lesson in question as well. Best wishes. And we play with the house numbers too.

We do easy calculations and so on. When they made five party cakes I got them to measure out the supplies. They also practiced handling my money. On a very recent library trip I got them to count the number of adult books that we found there. They also had to name correctly three different areas of the library for me.

At the local shops I asked them to find the total cost of a sandwich and a soft drink in addition to have. They also had to guess the number of staff. Once on a booked class outing at a local museum all of the entire class had a booklet to complete.

Other such activities varied. They had to learn their numbers. They had to fill in every single part of the whole booklet. Tasks included calculating the difference in museum entrance fees and conduct a full analysis of the yearly visitor numbers.

We’ve done rather simple math investigations. We have done a lot of activities.
