I always head to Amazon for all of my back to school buys. One because two day shipping duh! But also because I usually can find GREAT deals and there is so much fun stuff! I am going to share with you my favorite things that I have purchased form Amazon to use in my classroom! If you click on the picture it will take you to the affiliate link!
Mr. Sketch Makers This is my ALL TIME FAVORITE AMAZON BUY! It is also the product I buy the most. I use Mr. Sketch for EVERYTHING! I grade all my papers in these markers. They stand out and the kids love to smell them. I also use them for notes for the kids, for prizes, etc. The kids love them and I love the way they look! You can’t go wrong. Check them out here!Â
Teacher Book Bag
This is my all time favorite teacher bag I have ever had. I got this suggestion from Teach Create Motivate, who by the way has AMAZING Amazon ideas! It is so cute and stylish while being versatile for school. Plus, it doesn’t allow me to bring way too much stuff home! And it is so CHEAP while looking expensive! Check it out here!
10 Drawer Cart
I have two of these carts in my classroom. One of them hold my copies for each subject and the other one holds my writing and word work station. I love them because they fit in tight spaces, hold a lot of material, are easy for students to use, and look cute! Check them out here!
Pencil Sharpener
I literally tried one million different kinds of pencil sharpeners. They all broke and none of them worked the way I wanted them to. Once I bought this one my world was forever changed. My kids can even use it without breaking the sharpener or pencil. This was worth every penny because it saved my sanity. Find it here!
Dry Erase Pockets
We use these often. I do not like making copies, actually I hate it. So, that is where these come in handy! I do love buying them at the dollar spot, but I had to purchase these for some sturdy ones. These are the ones that stay at my small group table, the kids don’t use them on their own. These will stay nice for a LONG time and now I don’t have to make copies for small groups! Find them here!
Play-Doh
Okay, I know this is a weird one, but this is where I always buy my play-doh. I use play-doh every year on the first day of school. I place it out for the students to play with while they are talking to their friends. It is an easy morning work assignment that makes them comfortable. I also use it for word work, STEM, and other fun projects. Find it here!Â
Astrobrights Paper
I am a sucker for Astrobrights paper. It makes my room so much happier. I love looking at all the bright colors and it just pops! I use it for room decorations, any papers that are going home for parents that I really want them to see, and some of our work! It makes our classroom more fun! It is not a necessary expense, but I always seem to be buying it! 🙂 Check it out here!
Question Cubes
I LOVE these comprehension cubes to use in small group. The students love rolling them and it adds just a tad bit of engagement when you are doing comprehension questions. These questions at the end of guided reading can start to get a little bit boring, but if you add these cubes in every once in a while it all changes! Check them out here!Â
These are the things you will see in my cart often during teaching! I LOVE them and I hope you will too! If you have any more suggestions throw them in the comments below!
